represents the variety of farms and their products in Saratoga County, and promotes several annual events: Sundae on the Farm, County Fair, Farm Festivals & Tours. This design was also used on a Resource Map & Farm Guide, as well as on the web site: www.saratogafarms.com
John Bowne High School Agriculture Department in Flushing, Queens, flies a 3'x5' flag above the school with this design and "Celebrate NEW YORK Agriculture"!

Smith's Orchard Bake Shop
The Smith's farmhouse and orchard bake shop are instantly recognizable as the focal point of this design. The vibrant colors evoke memories of crisp fall days on the farm and the aroma of freshly baked apple pies.

Hickory Springs Farm
This custom design is full of elements with special significance to Hickory Springs Farm: Draft horses (Cupid & April) were painted from photo as well as Jesse the Airedale. The farm owners raise Angus beef cattle and operate a feed & grain mill (original buildings in background). Hickory leaves adorn the corners of a quilted border (quilting and growing lilacs are favorite hobbies).


Taste of Rensselaer County
A popular annual event sponsored by the county Farm Bureau...serving up delectable dishes made with farm fresh products.


Cobleskill Sunshine Fair
Recipient of the Blue Ribbon Fair Award, harness racing was an early favorite of fairgoers. Not to miss are the draft mules and historic Agriculture Hall.

Saratoga County Fair
This sure was a challenge to encompass all the fun of a fair in one design... from culinary to cows, rides to rabbits.  There's something for everyone!


Cows Coming Home
I created this scene for New York Farm Bureau's Christmas Card. It graced the program cover (in b&w) for their December Annual Meeting and extended seasons' greetings to members in their monthly newspaper, Grassroots.


New York Farm Bureau
Repesenting the breadth of agriculture in New York State- a picnic featuring NY products is the focus at center, surrounded by rolling farmland, and open spaces. I designed this for NY Farm Bureau's annual Lobby Days and Legislative reception invitation. It was also made into a poster for legislators' offices and appears on members' 2008 membership cards. Promotional products with this design can be ordered by County Farm Bureaus for fundraisers!


Maple Weekend
This is one of my favorite designs- created for the Upper Hudson Maple producers. The New York State Maple Association liked it so well that it they also used it to promote maple weekend throughout the state.


Edgewood Farms
The Phelps family proudly displays a banner with their farm design at the county fair, NY State Fair, and at regional shows. Their 1843 farmhouse is at center amongst the menagerie, which is housed in their green 4-H barn.


Joy of the Journey
The proprietors of this farm are marketing their products- herbal lotions, all natural lip balms, tick repellant, soaps and more at their local farmers market. The couple teaches hearth cooking, spinning, weaving, and other home skills.
